Timeless Backyard Escape
THE DETAILS:
When I first walked through this dated, hillside property, I saw hidden potential in the neglected slopes and dilapidated materials. My clients wanted a place that felt like a retreat yet was perfect for entertaining family and friendsāa space where they could bring the country club vibes they loved right to their backyard.

We began by tackling the layout, building retaining walls and decking to transform those steep hills into usable, inviting spaces. An outdoor kitchen was added near the house, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow that matched the existing homeās style. For their guests, a bocce ball court became a gathering hub, adding a playful charm to the landscape.
One of my favorite features was the fire pit by the pool. It was set up just right, so you can warm up after a swim or settle in for a cozy night under the stars. Soft landscape lighting was installed throughout, enhancing the serene, natural atmosphere at night.

Now, the space is a complete transformationāa true sanctuary that hosts everything from family gatherings to quiet mornings. The finished yard has become a go-to spot for them, filled with moments of laughter, relaxation, and entertainment.
